I love Sandy and the business owners here are wonderful. There are other gas stations, including another ARCO by fred Meyer on hwy26. This ARCO will never get my business again. I loaned my daughter money for the hold so her bills would be covered until the hold was released. I expected an apology and an explanation of why their pumps are placing $100 holds on $40 fills. Neither of us has heard anything. Very disappointing.
They were closed up, fenced up. not open 24 hours!
Tricky to get in and out of, also why doesn't the gas pumper handle the cash?!
Huge inconvenience for me to walk inside, wait in line, all while the gas dude is running back and forth checking if the pump has been paid, by that time he is helping others and the cash transactions are handled after.
This gas station in the past (possibly present) has been known to add water to their gas to make it go farther. Stay away.
After my daughter had her bank card preauthorized for $100 for a $40 fill, and after she tried speaking to the cashier about releasing the hold, because the hold over drew her account, she was told that issue needed the manager who was not there. She came to me for help. I called the ARCO, which was apparently busy, and was also told the manager needed to deal with it. When I said that was unacceptable, I attempted to leave my number for the manager only to have the rude lady on the other end put the phone down and begin making fun of me with another customer at the register. When she came back to the phone I explained how unprofessional it is to make fun of customers. She told me she didn't have time for me and hung up. I called the main office to complain about how I was treated. Corporate was very apologetic and said they would give our info to the owner. He never called.
Good place to get gas before you hit the mountain.
I'll stick to fred meyer.
Also their junk food/beer selection is, eh.
