Came in to get a lump checked out. I was having trouble getting medical insurance so had to pay out of pocket 75$ to be seen and was worried about how much I was going to have to pay after I got checked out. Turned out to be an abscess which the nurse practitioner had to cut open and drain. Once he learned that I was paying out of pocket he decided to charge absolutely nothing for this minor surgery. That took a huge load off my shoulders and I am very grateful for the work he did. Thankyou Adventist health for the great experience.
I'm really very disappointed with my visit here. Won't be going here again.
We received wonderful care in all ways when we came in after my husband had cut his hand badly splitting wood. The receptionist was cheerful, sympathetic and concerned for our comfort, kept us informed, and the wait was reasonable given that we were not the only ones there in urgent need. Skyler Stone was clearly exceptionally competent in diagnosing and treating the injury (in this case, stitching up a deep gash) and was genuinely caring and friendly. All in all, our experience exceeded anything we might have hoped for from an urgent care facility.
I was experiencing extreme pain in my left leg, making it very difficult to walk, when I went to Sandy Adventist Urgent Care. I had sought chiropractic treatment previously for the leg pain; the chiropractor was unable to find a skeletal problem. However, Thalia, who treated me, almost immediately diagnosed the problem as a pinched nerve in the sacroiliac and gave me a shot that had an immediate numbing effect and was designed to clear up the problem after three days. It's been 24 hours since the treatment, and the pain has subsided to the point that I can walk upright. The professionalism, knowledge, and demeanor of Thalia are all greatly appreciated. I'd rate the service there, at least in this instance, as superb.
Left without being seen because the wait was way too long. No urgency. Took 15 minutes just to get "registered". An hour later they said the wait wouldbe 45 minutes. Complete waste of time. Went to Providence Happy Valley Immediate Care and were seen in 15 minutes.
