Fraud in the inducement is not something I take lightly. There is no Oregon law of a kind or nature this weird woman spoke of. How horrible.
Amazing agents!
My wife and I just stopped by today Wednesday August the 12th at approximately 6:30 PM. My wife walked in and met a female realtor (Jewel Stockli) who was working at that time. My wife inquired about water front property and Jewel started bragged about how many sold properties she sold last year which was rather embarrassing listening to her blather that way.
WORSE ... She lied! Jewel proceeded to state that they required people sign exclusive agreements and had to prequalify before they would even think about showing properties to individuals ... Even properties on brochures or on their computers there at their offices.
We are worth millions and have excessive amounts of cash. We could write a check for any property we would like up to 700k that day in Sandy Oregon. Rather, this poor mannered woman went even further by saying it was dictated by Oregon law that an exclusive agreement. WHAT A LIE!!!! I'm a lawyer! I hope the Sandy Oregon offices read this and figure out how to deal with this representative because that office can find themselves paying a lot of money backing away from those kinds of fraudulent statements. Agency law still applies and vicarious liability will transfer the Burkeshire Hathaway in Sandy Oregon. Not to mention this clueless woman can lose her license.
