When I took the vehicle back to them and pointed out these problems they acknowledged the issues and scheduled my car for service three days later. At that point they had fixed the window but then proceeded to tell me that fixing the differential leak would cost me an additional 4.5 hours of labor. I declined because I would rather take my car to another shop.

We called in on our 1998 Explorer with what we suspected was an alternator replacement. They got the vehicle at 9:30 am after the call at 8:00 am. Said they would to a diagnosis and call back with a quote and an estimate of how long it would take. Got a call back at 11:00am and Willie said they would work it in. Got the final call at 2:30 pm. to come pick up the rig. No hassles, no surprise charges, very prompt service, and a most courteous counter person, Willie. I highly recommend Bill's Auto in Sandy.
I have worked with them about 10 times now on small jobs and bigger jobs. I trust that 100%, they do great work and they only get done what needs to be. No racking up the bill on you here. Their quality of work is supirior and highly competitive. Also they do all sorts of mechanical work on any type of car. Their prices are average to the high side but it is well worth it and you get what you pay for here! I've had small issues before and since I am a repetitive customer they haven't even charged me on more then one occassion. If you want the job done right go to Bill's automotive in Sandy! I drive 25 miles away to take all my vehicles there as its worth it!
The bottom line is that I would not recommend this shop due to their poor attention to detail and that they would not guarantee the replacement differential to be fully functional when it left the shop. This is unfortunate because they seem like a very friendly shop and were kind enough to re-align my window.
Knowledgeable. More than honest. Extremely fair pricing. Friendly and will take the time to explain everything in detail. Will not tell you that you need anything you don't need. Superior service! Have and will recommend to anyone looking for a shop they can trust.
I recently took my vehicle to Bill’s Automotive to have the window regulator and rear differential replaced. Afterwards, the window was misaligned to the point that it interfered with the window frame and the replacement differential (which they had picked out) was leaking badly. These are both very obvious things that they should have noticed before I picked up the car. I understand that mistakes happen, but a proper test-drive and quick once-over should have uncovered these issues.
